Ingredients:
1 can cooked chicken or 1 large cooked chicken breast
2 stalks of celery
1/2 red or yellow onion
1/2 gala apple (save rest of apple for slices)
10 red grapes
1 small bag of walnuts
3/4 cup of lite miracle whip
dash of ground pepper/ salt
dash of garlic powder
Prep:
-drain can of chicken or boil chicken breast until done and chop
-chop celery and add with chicken in bowl
-chop apple and add to bowl
-chop onion and add to bowl
-cut grapes into quarters and add into bowl
-chop walnuts and add to bowl
-add salt, ground pepper, garlic powder and miracle whip.
-serve on bread
This is one of my FAVORITE simple, light, easy lunch recipes. It's absolutely delicious and takes only a few mintues to whip up!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy! Unfortunately I don't eat Miracle Whip (or Mayo) but I always think Chicken Salad looks so good! I love that you put the grapes in it. Nice touch.
