Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 chili spice packet
1 can tomato sauce 15 0z.
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can ranch style beans
Elbow macaroni (optional)
Sour Cream
Cheddar Cheese
1 cup water
Prep:
-dice onion
-mince garlic
-brown ground beef, add onions and garlic and strain
-after straining, put back into skillet and add chili spice packet and 1 cup water
-add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beans to crock pot or large pot on stove
-add ground beef mixture to crock pot or large pot and let cook on high for 3 hours
-if on stove, cook on medium and stir often to prevent scorching on the bottom
-add noodles if desired, and cornbread as a side
-top with sour cream and cheese

That is such a good idea for a cold day-- chili! I've been making soup and after my last awful one I'm sure my apartment could use a different meal-- chili!!
